To lengthen the life of your desiccant tubes, be sure to dry them out every 21 days by placing them under a desk lamp for five to ten minutes.

If you live in a very dry climate and wish to maintain a higher moisture level in your reed case, use the sponge insert. By using various levels of moisture on the sponge, you can adjust your reed case environment to your own specifications.
